Woopies...

Hello my beauty watchers!

I am so sorry I forgot to edit this weekend's blog update.  I totally forgot I hadn't finished it.  I have it set to post on Saturday mornings at midnight.  I got busy with work, Thanskgiving, Christmas and all the other things that happen in between.  I'll update those and also I have new news for the next blog!

I bought the Naked and Naked 2 palettes!  I am so excited to have these in my posession now.  I have waited a long time and am happy to say I will be testing these out soon.  I had tried to find a dupe for the palettes but nothing compares to the real thing!

I will be writing up a blog about some of the nail polishes I have been testing and have to say, buy the cheap ones, save your recept, and if you don't like them, buy the more expensive ones because they will be worth your money!

I hope all my American followers had a great Thanksgiving and got some great deals on Black Friday and Cyber Monday!

Until Saturday, stay beautiful!

Nail Polish Testing

Nail polish testing...

I usually don't paint my nails.  For the last few years I kept them fairly short.  Long nails kept getting in my way.  I usually would scratch myself or one of them breaks or snags so I clip them totally short.  I didn't have the patience to paint them because the polish would chip and I felt like it was a waste of time to do my nails.  Back in May of this year, I had smashed my finger in a door jam and the nail was bruised.

Here is the progression of the nail damage:

Day 1

A few weeks later...

Sometime in August or September

It hurt so bad I didn't know what to say.  All I could think of was "ow, this hurts".  I tried to soak my finger in icy water so it wouldn't swell up too bad.  Let's just say I was thankful I didn't need to get it drained.  I'm happy to say it healed up nicely and the rest of the nail is growing out.  I did that back in May and it FINALLY started to grow out in August or early September.  I was going …

Hard Candy Eye Shadow Top Ten Palette Review

Image
In my search of finding a cheap eye shadow palette, I spotted some Hard Candy products in Walmart a few weeks ago.  I didn't have the money to buy them all at the time so I waited until I returned some products I didn't like.  I didn't realize even if the products were from Walmart, I had $67.00 USD in returned products!  I didn't bring the receipts but I got a shopping card.  Walmart didn't loose any money and neither did I.  I will just buy makeup products with that money and if there is something I don't like, I will return it and have the money put back on my shopping card.
I was thinking of buying the Urban Decay Naked palette back when I bought the Tarte Limited Edition box set.  I want to find a dupe for Urban Decay but I doubt I'll find anything for it.  I hope for Christmas this year I'll have some money left over, I am being very frugal with my money, and buy BOTH the original and new Naked Palette.  So here's what I bought of Hard Cand…

Lancome Gift Bag Products

Image
A few weeks back I got a flyer in the mail saying I could get a free makeup bag of makeup if I bought at least $35.00 USD worth of their products.  I bought my mom mascara and kept the samples.  You select which products you want, there are a few where you can choose.

The eye shadow palette differs from what I got and I didn't get the mascara, I own too many mascaras as it already is.  I am very happy with the samples I got and I intend to buy a few of the products larger sizes later.  I had a choice of the color of the bag, black or purple.  I chose purple.  Here is the list of products I chose for my bag!
Product #1 Renergie Lift Multi-Action Purchase at:  www.lancome.com or www.sephora.com or www.ulta.com or your local makeup counter Price:  0.5 oz $68.00 USD  1.7 oz $92.00 USD This face cream is really nice.  I don't have to use much and it keeps my face moisturized for hours.  I like the smell and the way it goes on.  It also doesn't make my makeup look greasy eit…
